There will be two Competition races on Sunday 8/30 to makeup for the missed Competition #6 from 8/23. They should be the usual Btrap followed by a short wind/leeward (S course) race subject to the discretion of the race Committee, who will be Handsome Pete.
Lady Skippers Race #7 to be run with the CYC Women’s Offshore Challenge
Saturday, 8/29 is the final race in the Lady Skippers series. This is being run as part of the Chicago Yacht Club Women’s Offshore Challenge, a pursuit race. The MORF Lady Skipper fleet can sign up and pay for the event with the discount using code: MORFLS7 the discount appears at the very end of entry. LD #6 Race from Hammond Sunday 8/09 — course correction

The text describing the LD #6 Race from Hammond Sunday 8/9 on page 41 in the race book is in error. The final leg is from the “R” mark to a finish leaving SA7 to port. There is no port rounding of the Crib. This is to avoid crossing the Verve Cup courses. The drawing of the course on page 41 is correct. The correct course description text is:
Course: Hammond Intake Crib to starboard rounding of Northeast Shoal Lighted Buoy (R), to port rounding of Indiana Shoal Buoy #2 (D), to starboard rounding of Northeast Shoal Lighted Buoy (R), to a finish at SA7 leaving the mark to Port.
