We are abandoning tomorrow, Saturday 09/07’s, Lady Skipper’s racing for weather. The committee boat is not comfortable going out in the forecast conditions. The nearshore forecast is:
.SATURDAY…North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Mostly sunny. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to
4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
Windy, and other weather sites have the forecast not quite that evil but surely bad enough to make it a day of hanging on not racing.
The series is now completed with Espirt d`Ecosse in 1st, Gaucho in 2nd and Kinship in 3rd. The series averaged over 11 starters per race in the traditionally highly competitive racing. Only one boat, Nyctosaur, took more than one bullets, and they took 4th in the series. Well done everyone.
